THE LITTLE THINGS #3 (FRIENDSHIP IS MY FAVORITE KINDA SHIP)

this episode of 'the little things' is actually not about anything small..i'd say it's about one of the biggest things. about friends and friendships. 

since finishing high school it has become harder to stay in touch with a lot of people i used to see every day. but it has become clear who's making an effort to still keep in contact. some of my friends have moved away or are currently travelling so we can't hang out as much as we used or like to. but it's fine..we can skype and everyone is busy with fun stuff so we have lots to catch up when we see each other. this whole little-stupid-cheesy collage is dedicated to friends,buddys,mates,bro's,besties and chummies. it's comforting to find pieces of your personality in others and to create unforgettable memories. i might not keep in touch with everyone but we still have beautiful things to remember and look back at. that's the main reason why i love photography.because it captures those memories and situations and allows you to look back at them anytime you wan't to. i hope to look back at my stupid little collage in a few years from now and say things like 'oh look! * has just had her first baby!' or ' i still haven't had a better party than this one!' or whatever. for now i am thankful to have those weirdos in my life and i am certain that some of them will stick along for a long time.

i truly apologize if you happen to be one of those munchkins pictured in the collage above and you are trying to have a perfectly squieky clean profile of you in the internet for, if your boss is searching for party pictures of you. well...hello boss! they are all lovely and responsible;)!

GREENER GRASS AND REALER PEOPLE (A WEEKEND GETAWAY)

a few weeks ago my sister, dad and i drove from the city into a little quite cottage near the baltic sea. friends of ours bought an massive terrain with several big, old barns that are beeing made into houses.
i could write for days about how inspiring the people there are and how touching and kind their souls are on others. and i just wrote about three pages. but i'll just leave it as simple as it is for now. i had a revitalizing and beautiful time there. the pictures will speak for themself. i felt a really raw and pure kind of happiness and slef-confidence. just a sort of "i know that i belong here and i know that what ever will be thrown at me i'll be able to conquer" kind of way. i do love make-up. but in this situation it only felt right to go bare. and it was nice to let my outside breath and relax as well.

THE LITTLE THINGS #2 - BREAKFAST IS THE BEST MEAL

five of these little snippets have something to do with breakfast..i obviously adore the first meal of the day:). 

from left to right and bottom to top : my first ever fake nail..quite a nice frenchtip look ; mhmm freshly made espresso ; our new nespresso mashine which makes getting up a lot easier! ; a breakfast my sister made me .. far from healthy but delicious ; a ring that says love made out of a guitar string that broke ; pancakes with a lot of madagascar vanille , a potato shaped like an heart..oh nature you are wonderful! ; a greek yogurt with raspberries breakfast bowl and some tanya burr on youtube ; some different sized candles that i arranged together

THE LITTLE THINGS #1 - LIFE'S A TREAT!

welcome to a new little series on my blog. just random little snippets of my life that i am thankful for mushed into a collage. these might be fun to look back in a while and see what i got up to.

side note : i am currently hungry and so naturally a lot of these pics i've picked are food and treats.haha..i am a little bit extra thankful for these yummy things right now. but life's a treat as well, isn't it?

from left to right ( mostly) : frozen dark chocolate covered banana slices with peanutbutter inbetween..best.thing.ever.period. ; freshly picked strawberries diped into melted milk chocolate ; dancing on a park deck in the city with my love ; late night conversations with close friends and a toast ( i don't like champagne at all..haha i am weird like that) ; my cozy self-made sofa is definately my happy place ; my old (16!) but beautiful kittycat ; some random fireworks in the middle of the night..are they practicing for new years eve or what? ; a bonfire with good friends and more late night chats ; someone plaing piano for you will always sound beautiful and special! ; freshly made smoothies in the morning to get the day started in a good way

I MIGHT HAVE FOUND PARADISE! - ST.TROPEZ PART II

 hamburg has been super gloomy and rainy lately. it is not known to be sunny but it is has been this weird inbetween between pouring rain and sunshine...it's just..blaaahhh. and now i feel like a grandma who loves to talk about the wheather. but since i am all about cheerishing your inner child i love my granny side as well.haha i might end up as a crazy old cat lady. but i don't mind that at all. but back to buisness now! 

so here is the last and the biggest part of my 'happy place' on this earth! st.tropez and provoce, france in general. this photos light up my gray days! we came back a month ago and i am already in desperate need of a holiday! i have been working craaaaazy hours lately..and through the whole weekend. i have been just a tiered mess for the past few weeks..but i am starting to adapt so i'll be able to make some time to blog and enjoy life more often. i really did not have time to even take a deep breath or quick run. so note to future me maybe stumbiling across this post in some time : please make sure you are fine with your working hours! don't agree to be avaible six to seven days a week! your opinion matters two! your boss is only your boss in your working envoirment! he's neither god or your dad! 

well..now that that has been cleard up...let's soak up some sun!

 random yellow buoys in the habour..they look like sunny, giant lemons;)..maybe it's just me. but looking at them cheers me up!

 the architecture is so simple yet so breathtaking beautiful! i love the green and blue tones of the window shutters

 this is the 'grand marnier'-cocktail which i told you about. it consists of orange juice, grand marnier and ice cubes. very yummy, refreshing in the hot summer sun but the alcohol was nooooot a good idea at one o'clock in the day..haha

 his arm looks so funny in this one haha! but it's a fun snap after all!

 this is my favorite place in the city. by the water and with a view of the church tower. these light bulbs light up at night and the place becomes better then a fairytale! it's out of this world!

 i am not too sure what these little sparkely dots are..they might be some pollen but they look like magical fireflies in the setting sunlight! i am in love with the atmosphere in this picture

 a few moments after the sun dissapeard behind the mountains..loveley how the mountains appear so blue! it looks so peaceful

 a good old smooch. one of the only pictures that we acually hae togehter where we are not pulling crazy faces that you could post to snapchat but not show your mum. but this is a nice one:)

 i bought this clubmaster style sunglasses at the market! they are so nice! i enjoied wearing them a ton

 the cutest little streets which sum up into a labirtinth ..but i certainly don't mind getting lost in there!

 i don't know how this picture came along..but i like how my bathing suit and water bottle compliment each other..haha and my weird ballett foot..

 this cake is the famous 'tarte tropezienne' i am constantly craving this! it's so delicious! yuuuuuumm!

 which looks oh-so-modely ended in a face full of salty water:( haha but i don't mind it because i like how the shot turned out and especially how the water splash looks!

just a typical tourist-photo of me and my love taken by his grandma..it was such a great time! and the momories of every second make me smile every time! thank you hunny:*

ST.TROPEZ PART I - THE CITY OF SUMMER

as promised here is a new load of photos from st.tropez last week. i'm just going to let the pictures speak for themself and maybe make a little comment under them;)

 the city on the other side of the bay is called st. maxime

this sailing boat had a special coating so it reclected the sun in rainbow colours

 looking for sea urchins because they hurt a LOT when step on them

 a crepés stand at the regatta opening party

 they drenched the crepés in 'grand marnier' which is an orange-flavored cognac liquer

 red-bull+abricot(my fav)+lemon slush

 i really like the concept of this picture. that you can see my whole reflection in the puddle..

 it was a pleasure to be accopanied by such a cute hottie..mhmm

 waiting for the sunset from the highest point of the city..and my trusty herschel backpack!
