ST.TROPEZ PART I - THE CITY OF SUMMER

as promised here is a new load of photos from st.tropez last week. i'm just going to let the pictures speak for themself and maybe make a little comment under them;)

enjoy and soak up the sunbeams through your screen!

the view from our balcony..nahh..not to bad;)
the city on the other side of the bay is called st. maxime

this sailing boat had a special coating so it reclected the sun in rainbow colours

looking for sea urchins because they hurt a LOT when step on them
a crepés stand at the regatta opening party
they drenched the crepés in 'grand marnier' which is an orange-flavored cognac liquer
 red-bull+abricot(my fav)+lemon slush

i really like the concept of this picture. that you can see my whole reflection in the puddle..
it was a pleasure to be accopanied by such a cute hottie..mhmm
waiting for the sunset from the highest point of the city..and my trusty herschel backpack!

Have a nice day!

ABOUT A SECRET-MONDAY-LOVER AND CUDDLES

huurraay! it's finally sundayfunday! the day dedicated to snuggling, hot chocolates and beeing cozy all day long. And the perfect excuse to be a bit unproductive without feeling guilty..but to be honest i get most of my meaningful and creative ideas in exactely these situations when my brain is unwinding.

i've grown to love this seventh day of the week only quite recently..not gonna lie, but sunday used to be my least favorite day of the week..some people might think it is unnecessary to favour one of the seven days of the week more and another one less..but i actually get asked about my favorite day from time to time. sunday always appeared to me so deadly and boring. The shops are closed, everyone is drinking coffe at their grandma's house and has therefore no time to hang out and it's the end of an propably exausting, long and stressful week. no one has the energy to make an effort about this last day..they'd rather do nothing(and sadly stress out about doing nothing) in order to be awake and productive on monday again.

i am truly sorry that i had these thoughts my cute little sunday but it's all over now:)!

my favorite day used to be monday..i know that not a lot of people will agree..but monday is always a fresh start..and i am all about fresh starts. it's almost like new-years-eve every week.(yip. i am aware that i get carried away about this whole favorite-day-thing.haha)

but about a year ago my crush on sundays began..(oh i am so lame..but at least i admit it)
i started making a good and delicious sunday morning breakfast as a tradition..and my sister, mum&dad and boyfriend soon joined in and so a lot of pancake and croissants parties where thrown;)
i allow myself to really chill out on sundays and it gives me something to look forward to during the week and funly enough i don't sleep until two o'clock but get up at around eight to enjoy as much of sunday as i can.
i use sundays as a pamper day not only for me but for my room as well. i like decorating and cleanind on sundays with loud songs blasting. and i looove coming home on mondays to an clean house.

so i advice you to make sunday your funday as well, especially if you are :
- trying to find another outlook on things
- searching for an creative idea
- you feel slughish but had no time to fix it
- or your brain is simply clutterd and overfilled
allow yourself to have a cheat-day on sundays(or any other preferred day of course) and simply unwinde and maybe unplug for the day. by cheat-day i don't mean to eat three jars of nutella and watch every single sex and the city episode there is in one day..no everything in moderation..but make this day a 'YOU-DAY'!
- go into the theatre,
- go for a swim, run or walk(through colourchanging leafs!)
- create something beautiful,
- call an old friend or family member
- throw all of your old stuff away or give it to charity
- cuddel infront of a fireplace (that's such an cliché haha)
or maybe you just need to sleep 20 houres in a row than go on and sleep thight.
DO WHAT YOU LOVE AND NEED! is what iam trying to say, and allow yourself something small and fun that you wouldn't normaly!
that is what sundays are for, so you can be the best and most enegetic you that you could possibly be on oh-so-hated-monday(i still love you;)! )

here is a little collage i made out of google-images..pretty much sums up a good sunday.

Have a beautiful day (no matter which day it is)
But have an especially chilled sunday.

MADLY IN LOVE! (ST.TROPEZ SNEAKPEAK)

Bonjour mes Chéris!

I am back from St.Tropez and to sum it up...I am simply speachless.
I loved it soo much there!

But I have missed blogging as well.
It's weird because I've been doing this internet-blog-writing-thing for a rather short time.
But it has developed to be my time-out and a comforting thing to do at the end of the day and fun to collect creative thoughts troughout the day.
I love it.

The flights went well and I arrived the day before yesterday back at home.
(not gonna lie..still haven't washed my things.whoopsie)

Happily my camera was mostly infront of my eyes so I took a lot of snaps.
And by a lot I mean, I filled two SD-cartes..ahm..yes.whoopsie again;)
Seeing everything through a lense can be amazing but I am glad that I took some breaks to appreciate some situations with my own eye balls.

There is a little video coming up soon of my adventures..I am still learning how to cut it properly.
So you can be excited for that:)

And now to stop my rambelling (because there will be more of it anyways in the next posts..haha) here are a few photos of our first two days in sunny St. Tropez.
Some more will shortly follow.

We arrived at noon and went into town in the evening.
So I saw it for the first time at night with all the little lights.

The flight was short and our view was clear. We could spot the Alpes and Monacco.

This is the view into the bay of St.Tropez. The sunsets just look out of this world.

Little fisher boats. Even though I took this picture at night time it seems quite bright..funny

Fishes swiming in the habour near a boat. I like the way the light falles from the ship's propeller.

A pretty bar with lilac lights.

The first time seeing everything in hot sunlight.
This tower that you can spot is the landmark of St.Tropez.

You can enter the clear sea from the middle of the city!

My freckles went craaaaazy after spending only a few hours in the sun.
When I was younger I felt very selfconcious about them..but I am starting to at least tolerate them and see them as a reminder of summer.

Bisous xxxx Julieanor
And the rest will follow soon!
